You do get a safety briefing, but the name of the game at this rally school is to learn your trade behind the wheel, with your instructor giving driving tips and advice over the helmet intercom system - just like in real rally team set up. Being totally hands on, within your taster session you'll have time to have a go at handbrake turns and two laps of the special rally stage, with a final and third lap being timed for the leader board.
And what's more, that's not where your taste of rally driving fun in Yorkshire ends. To finish off you'll be taken on a high speed passenger ride with your expert instructor driving. All we can say is remember to hang on tight - you'll go so fast round the rally stage, you'll feel your eyes are about to pop out of your head!
Your day will begin with a safety briefing. You will then receive a handbrake turn session, 2 driving laps of the special rally stage and a final timed lap in a RS2000 Ford Escort. All tuition is in-car with instruction provided through authentic helmet intercoms. You will also receive a passenger ride with your expert rally driving instructor. At the end of your experience a trophy and a bottle of bubbly will be presented to the fastest driver. The course is run on a 5:1 ratio with 1 hour and 45 minutes divided by five participants. There may be up to 10 participants on the course. Please allow two hours for your experience.

Rally Taster experiences take place in Seaton Ross, North Yorkshire. The rally school have been operating since 1995 and the venue offers a variety of special rally stages to recreate an authentic rally experience.
Participants must hold a driving license which must be shown on the day. The maximum weight limit is 18 stone. The minimum height is 4'7'', maximum is 6'6''. You will be provided with professional rally suits on the day. A long sleeved top, trousers and flat soled shoes are recommended.
Spectators are welcome free of charge, with a maximum of four guests per participant. Spectators under the age of 10 must be arranged with the venue prior to event. This venue offers good onsite facilities including a heated viewing area. Complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day.
