Rally Thrill in Staffordshire
You have a difficult choice ahead of you - it's your chance to get behind the wheel of a modern rally legend - but which one will you choose the Subaru STi or the Mitsubishi Evo? When you accelerate flat out on the specially constructed track in the heart of Staffs, in either the Subaru Impreza STi or Mitsubishi Evo 8, the speed will take your breath away. You will find that their pace is matched with awesome handling and incredible agility. It's no wonder that they rate as two of the world's most successful rally cars ever!
Once you have composed yourself after the adrenalin rush you will be strapped into a purpose built Peugeot 106 rally car and allow you to let rip on the gravel course. During this session you will get to try out more rally driving techniques.
Finally you will be taken for a high speed passenger ride with a professional rally driver, so hold on tight!
Experience summary: You will get to drive either the Mitsubishi Evo 8 or the Subaru Impreza STi for six laps of the 1.1 mile tarmac circuit. There is also a driving session on gravel in a Peugeot 106 rally car and you'll have a high speed passenger ride as well as a personalised certificate and driver analysis form. Availability: Rally courses run on selected weekdays and some Saturdays from February to December.
Location: Near Stafford with good access via J14 of the M6.
Requirements: You must hold a full manual driving licence, be under 6'5" tall and weigh less than 18 stone.
Spectators/facilities: Spectators are encouraged to attend. Extra drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability. A free 4x4 Off Road passenger ride for spectators is offered, subject to availability. Refreshments are usually available to purchase on site.
