The wild countryside of Scotland provides a breathtaking backdrop for this 4x4 experience. You will be driving a 110 County Land Rover; the vehicle that has been at the backbone of country living for years, long before cruising to the supermarket in 4x4's became a national sport!

Your session starts with a sign in and safety briefing as driving a proper 4x4 is surprisingly different to driving a normal car, especially on the rugged, hilly terrain you'll be tackling. With up to 1.5 hours behind the wheel you will have plenty of time to perfect your driving skills and there is no chance of boredom creeping in as there is acres of terrain to explore.

As you progress, you will be tackling mud, rough terrain and challenging hill climbs - you'll be amazed at what you can do under expert guidance and tuition. Don't worry if you have never driven a true 4x4 before, as the sessions are offered on a 1:1 basis, instruction is geared to your level to make sure you make the most of your experience and above all, have fun! 

Also, driving time on this experience can be shared with a friend or partner to make the most of your voucher!

The total experience lasts around 1.5 hours with around 1.5 hours behind the wheel, taught on a one to one basis. IntotheBlue also offers nationwide off road courses.


Sessions are offered at various times to suit, weekends and weekdays throughout the year. You can share the driving with a friend or have a spectator ride as a passenger.


Minimum age for drivers is 14 as long as you can reach pedals of a normal car. You do not need to have a driving licence.


Welcome, up to four guests per driver (please note only one friend allowed as second driver or passenger). Facilities are basic on site with a portaloo. Spectators may not be able to see all of the driving action as the area covered is quite large.
