Off Roading Fun in Berkshire
This centre near Reading in Berkshire offers 4x4 off road driving experiences in Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, Land Rovers and Discoveries, with plenty of driving time to conquer all challenges!
Your experience starts off with registration and a safety briefing along with a demonstration from your instructor. Then it's your turn to get behind the wheel of a powerful 4 x 4 vehicle. As the experience is on a 1:1 basis, ( mixed off road driving days are available ) your accompanying expert instructor will be making sure you get the most out of your experience. Starting with the 'nursery slopes' you will learn and practice all the basic techniques used to negotiate a 4 x 4 through the purpose built course.
Once you have built up your confidence, you will be cleared to attempt more demanding terrain - you'll be driving Jeeps across terrain you never thought physically possible by the end of your experience - from extreme climbs to deep water wading!
The experience is suitable for any level of driver as courses can be tailored according to the level of driver experience.
Experience summary: The two hour individual session is taught on a 1:1 basis. Full day off roading courses are available on our main off road section under the driving experiences menu.
Availability: Courses run 7 days a week all year round subject to availability.
Requirements: Full valid driving licence. Please bring suitable outdoor clothes and wear sturdy boots in case of mud. There are no height restrictions - if you can drive a standard car you can drive a Jeep.
Spectators/facilities: Spectators not travelling in the vehicle are welcome to watch free of charge. A small charge may be made for refreshments for spectators.

Our driver who was confident, informative and entertaining gave us all a great time. The time in the 4x4 vehicle was superb with shouts of "Can we do the big drop again?" and "Is there any deeper water?" from our son! Although not a glam set up, I would recommend this as a good value and exciting experience and have since purchased another day out.
