Experience 4x4 offroading in Suffolk over two and a half miles of purpose built trails at the centre near Newmarket on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border. Nationwide 4x4 venues are available on our main off road section.
Both the 30 and 60 minute off roading sessions start with a demo ride before you take the driving seat in the 4x4 Land Rover Discovery. The 60 acre offroading site in Suffolk has four different trails - the Dirty Den, the Back of Beyond, the Crater and the Waterhole all packed with mud, water, sand, hills and troughs.
The Land Rover Discoveries used love these extreme conditions. With muddy water up to the doorhandles and axles twisting over fallen logs and rutted terrain, you'll love your time at this 4x4 offroading centre in the Suffolk countryside. Tuition is on a one to one basis, but if you buy vouchers together, you and up to two other friends can take it in turns to drive the 4x4 with the fully qualified off roading instructor at your side.
Pre-drive safety briefing followed by a short demonstration drive from your instructor, you'll then swap seats and you'll drive the 4x4 through a variety of tracks and trails. You will usually be driving Land Rover Discovery vehicles. Total drive time is 30 or 60 minutes including the short driving demo. Instruction is usually 1:1 however if you buy multiple vouchers up to three drivers can share a vehicle, drive and then enjoy the ride whilst others drive.
The venue is open 7 days a week from 10-4 during winter months and 10-5.30 when the days are longer.
Newmarket near Cambridge. The venue boasts a 2.5 mile network of purpose built tracks.
Minimum age is 17 and you will need to hold a full current driving licence.
The venue has excellent facilities including, toilets, changing rooms, kids play area with zip wire and a cafeteria at weekends. Two/three spectators can ride as passengers in the vehicle free of charge. Spectator areas are provided however views of the action can be limited as you will be driving on a 2 1/2 mile course.
