Race Driving Lessons - Sussex

Follow in the single seater racing car tyre treads of legendary drivers such as Stirling Moss, Fangio, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart and James Hunt, who have all raced at this evocative historic 2.4 mile circuit - from the moment you drive through the gates at Goodwood in Sussex, you know that this venue near Chichester is somewhere special for your racing car experience.
Your experience will start with a couple of demonstration lap in a modern saloon car with a professional instructor explaining the layout of the course. Then it's your turn to take to the wheel, learn the circuit and put in some 'sighting laps' with your instructor pointing out braking and turning points.
The highlight of the day then arrives, as you squeeze into the snug cockpit and prepare to drive four laps (nearly 10 miles) of the circuit in a "slick and wing" Formula Ford 2000 single seater racing car. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 100mph and generating some serious G forces through the corners, your heart will be pounding with the thrill and exhilaration of this fantastic experience. More
racing car activities are available on the main racing page.

The experience includes 2 instructor demo laps in a saloon car, two driving laps in a saloon car and four driving laps in a slick tyred Formula Ford 2000 Single Seater. Allow spending an hour on site. In total you will drive over 14 miles.

Courses run on weekdays March to October. AM and pm start times are usually available. Availability can be very limited from mid August to mid September as the circuit hosts annual driving events.
