Enjoy the thrill of getting behind the wheel on the professional race circuit in Lancashire in a Ralt RT30/32 Formula 3 single seater just like Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill and Jensen Button who all drove in the British Formula 3 race series before moving onto the heights of Formula 1.
These vehicles combine blistering performance and agile handling - the 170bhp engines can propel these lightweight racers from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, that's faster acceleration than a Ferrari 360 or Porsche 911 Turbo! The fact that your seat is just a few inches above the tarmac only adds to the feeling of speed and excitement. Because their bigger (and more expensive) Formula 1 brothers are only marginally quicker around this twisty, challenging circuit, this experience provides fantastic value for money.
Following a welcome, registration and safety briefing your instructor will take you out and drive familiarisation laps in a sports saloon car explaining the layout of the circuit and advising you on corners, braking and apex points.
You will then move into a single seater Formula Ford racing car for 10 paced laps of the circuit. With your confidence, ability and speed increasing you will then drive a further 10 unpaced laps. The culmination of your experience arrives in the shape of 10 laps in the awesome Formula 3 racing car. After a short break to catch your breath you will get to go out onto the circuit again for an additional 10 high speed laps in the F3 car. You will then be debriefed and presented with a personalised certificate.
In total the experience provides 40 driving laps of the circuit which is approximately a mile in length. This is a truly amazing
racing gift experience.

The course consists of instructor-driven familiarisation laps followed by 20 laps in a Single Seater and 2 x 10 laps in the Formula 3 car. The circuit is a professional racing circuit just under a mile long. It is complete with corner kerbing, rumble strips, run off areas, tyre walls and gravel traps. You will experience fast straights and a mixture of challenging corners.
