What's Included

Simulator Race Experience

  • The event will begin with a driver briefing
  • 20 minutes of qualifying laps
  • A series of race heats racing head-to-head against up to 9 other drivers at a time
  • Points are awarded for qualifying laps and for each race

What Can I Expect

Put yourself in the hot seat on a simulator race experience! This full-simulation driving experience is so realistic, you're sure to be leaning into the corners as you race through the chicanes and hairpins in your race car simulator.

The experience starts with registration and a full driver briefing, which includes an introduction to the controls on the simulator and details on how the Grand Prix-style race event will run.

Then, as you step into the race area, you'll see the race pods in a circle all fully linked. Each pod has a very lifelike cockpit and you sit in a full race seat. An immersive display in front of you shows your car on the track, with the view from your seat.

Just like the real thing, these sim cars have no ABS, no traction control, no steering assistance and no catch up. Even tyre wear and fuel consumption is taken into account as you drive. With your headphones on and the blast of the engine roaring in your ears, you'll soon be completely engrossed in the atmosphere, as you complete your 20-minute practice session.

This is where you have the time to learn how the car handles and get to grips with the best racing lines in and out of the corners, before that all-important, last racing lap. This will determine your position on the grid.

Next up is the series of race heats against your fellow competitors. You're on the start grid waiting for the light procedure to start. Engines are revving all around. Let's see if you can time your start launch to perfection as the lights turn green!

Having begun with a lower-powered car, you'll gradually make your way up the tiers to full power. Medals will be awarded to the top three drivers, so make sure you give it your all in the virtual realm, to win a very real place on the podium.

Availability

  • The experience is run on most weekends throughtout the year
  • It is recommended you book at least six to eight weeks in advance to ensure dates are available
  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Allow at least 3 hours on site for this experience
  • You will have a combined 20 minutes of practice and qualifying with at least seven races (total minimum drive time of 90 minutes)

Suitable For

  • There are no weight or age limits but under 16s must be ccompanied by a parent or guardian
  • Minimum height 4ft 5ins (135cms)
  • Comfortable, loose fitting clothing and flat soled shoes are recommended

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come and watch your experience from the large live display screens
• There is a snack bar at the race centre

  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
  • On occasion you may be the only participant booked in.  If you would like to guarantee you will be competing against others, please check numbers when making your booking - there will be days when group races are scheduled
