Kids super car driving is now a reality with this venue in Staffordshire offering youngsters aged 12 years or over the chance to actually drive one of several great supercars around their purpose built track.
There's no need for any previous driving experience either as each youngster will be given a taste of the track to learn a few super car handling techniques in a Mini. The instructor will take the wheel to do a couple of demo laps (hold on tight!) and then it's the moment the proud Mums and Dads will be waiting for, as your little one clutches the steering wheel and accelerates off for 10 minutes of kids super car driving heaven!
There are always loads of super cars at the track to choose from including the likes of a gorgeous Aston Martin, ferocious Ferrari, futuristic Audi R8, Classic Porsche 911 or a sleek Lamborghini.
The kids supercar driving experience includes a welcome and safety briefing, 10min driving session in a mini cooper to practice driving technique, 10 min demonstration session with the instructor driving, 10 min driving session in either a Ferrari 360, Aston Martin V8, Audi R8, Porsche 911 or Lamborghini Gallardo. A personalised certificate is presented at the end. Allow spending up to 2 hours at the venue.
Selected weekday dates during school holidays with some occasional weekends available. The exact vehicles available on the day are subject to availability but usually include Ferrari 360, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8 and Porsche 911.
A purpose built 1.1 mile circuit at a professional driving centre near Stafford.
Minimum age is 12, maximum age is 16. The minimum height is 4'10". All juniors must be accompanied on site by an adult.
Spectators are very welcome and can enjoy free 4x4 passenger rides, there are picnic tables providing good views of the action. There are toilets, baby changing facilities and a snack bar on site. Professional photographs can usually be purchased with prices from £25. Between the hours of 07.45 and 17.45 a free minibus will operate between Stafford Train Station and the activity centre. Those choosing this greener way to travel will receive a £10 voucher for the driver and a £5 voucher for spectators to spend at the venue.
