The Apache Off Road Rally Experience drives you to the extreme edge and provides the ultimate in motorised thrills at the track near Maidstone in Kent. Adrenalin-pumping, unrestricted nerve tingling excitement and pleasure are yours, but always in complete safety.
Akin to driving a rally car on ice, the Apache is seriously exciting! Custom designed the Apache takes you into a whole new league in off road racing. Being a twin seater, not only is the centre of gravity outstanding, but allows for an instructor to be on board to show you how, and then allow you, to experience unparalleled performance and excitement.
The activity starts with a classroom theory session and an introduction to the techniques and skills of rallying. You will compete in a series of timed trials, and if you're good enough, will take your place in the grand finale with the other fastest driver of the day.
This activity has a ratio of four participants per instructor, so you will spend about 30 minutes behind the wheel. Please allow 2 hours for this experience.
This experience is available most Saturdays throughout the year however please speak with the centre directly to discuss alternative days. Please note this activity is weather dependant and the supplier reserves the right to substitute the Apache Rally Car with an alternative motorised activity.
Minimum age is 11. All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 20 stone. If you are extraordinarily short or tall please or feel your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity please check with the centre when booking. The centre will provide all safety equipment but please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear that you do not mind getting dirty. In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided. You must arrive 15 minutes before your booked start time.
The venue has a pleasant indoor meeting area with a vending machine, toilets and changing area. There are a good range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the town nearby and spectators are welcome although viewing may be limited.
