What Can I Expect

Quad Biking Newcastle - our only venue with powerful Honda TRX 250cc quads for your quad biking enjoyment in Northumberland! With over 1000 acres of fine English countryside to explore and bikes that just love hitting the bumps, humps and cambers at speed, this trek experience is sure to please.

The meeting point for this superb day out is actually lovely Slaley Hall, just outside Hexham and only 30 minutes from Newcastle city centre. Leave the hustle and bustle of town behind and get ripping up the leafy paths of rural Northumberland - and what's more, quad biking just got easier with these funky Hondas.

That's because the TRX version means these quads are tiptronic, which for the uninitiated means the gear shift is electronic. This doesn't impinge on power though, as these ATVs pull more torque than their predecessors. And even more good news, the full repertoire of woodland trails, mud pits, water pools and steep drops just minutes from Newcastle delivers a thrilling quad bike session. In fact, once you comfortable with the controls and handling, you won't be dawdling, you'll be charging on your racing style Honda TRX.

As the quads used by this set up near Newcastle are pretty powerful, safety is paramount. Each rider will be given a ACU (Auto-Cycle Union) gold stamped approved full face helmet, overalls, gloves and wellies. If it's dry and there's a good chance you'll kick up the dust as you ride, you'll have goggles as well.

Your quad biking in Newcastle experience will give you around an 45 minutes of riding time, not forgetting the safety briefing. As well as the technical specs of the bikes, what we like most about this quad venue in Northumberland is that group sizes are kept small and you will each have your own machine to ride for the duration of the trek. And don't worry if you are a beginner, tuition and a little practice time before heading off with a guide leading you is all included.
