What Can I Expect
Buy your voucher for a Great Central Railway Afternoon Tea for two! A delightful taste of nostalgia with this superb package that combines travel on steam and diesel trains, with a stop off for a traditional afternoon tea.
Our deal gives you unlimited travel on Great Central Railway trains with a 'rover' style 'All Line Day Runabout' ticket for two people, with an informal tea included at the Butler Henderson cafe at Quorn station.
Named after the former director of the railway line, the Butler Henderson cafe in the station yard at Quorn has a wonderful 1940s feel. As well as inside seating, the covered veranda offers excellent views of the goings on at this highly popular steam railway.
Your afternoon tea will include all the tasty savoury and sweet afternoon tea goodies you love, along with piping hot tea and coffee.
And of course, you’ll have all day to visit all the other stations on the Great Central line. It is a large operation, with a proper timetable of services running throughout the main seasons, with four different stations in operation.
Make sure you explore on foot too, as each station stop has things to see; from the cosy waiting rooms with real log fires, to the just-as-it-would-have-been parcel office under the stairs, there's lots to see.
These Great Central Railway Afternoon Tea for two packages are a great way to enjoy a full day out at this historic Leicestershire railway.
