Fulfil your romantic Friday dinner dreams with your loved one, on a steam train. What could be more romantic than stepping onto the platform at the beautifully restored station and seeing the steam trains gently puffing and hissing?
Leave all your worries behind and step into a forgotten era (somewhere between 1946 and 1956!). Your evening of marvellous food, attention, service, smells and sounds, gentle motion and beautiful countryside starts with a 7.30pm departure, returning by 10.15pm. Steam train trips are also on offer at alternative stations and locations, throughout the UK.

The Friday steam dinner experience lasts approximately two and a half hours and includes a three course dinner, coffee and mints onboard vintage steam hauled Pullman coaches. The train leaves Bury Bolton Street station and travels around ten miles North to Rawtenstall via Summerseat, Ramsbottom and Irwell Vale, it then turns around and retraces it’s route South returning to Bury. The train will usually pause at Rawtenstall giving guests the chance to stretch their legs. The total distance travelled is approximately 20 miles. Guests are welcome to arrive early to view the station. Choose from over 800
