An Organic Wine Tour and Lunch - what could be better for you? This experience brings a new twist to the ever-popular vineyard tours, as it takes place at England's longest established organic winery in Sussex. Owners Roy and Irma Cook started producing organic wines in 1979 and they haven't stopped creating and innovating since.
The vineyard is now moving on to biodynamics, all of which will be explained to you during your tour. You will get to visit the working winery, as well taking a stroll outside to the vines and the gorgeous countryside that surrounds the estate (and be prepared to come across some unusual features). Back at the winery you'll enjoy a tasting of the lovingly produced wines, with tutoring given too.
Your organic wine tour also includes lunch, which, of course, is organic. You'll sit down to a tasty Ploughman's platter with locally sourced produce with your fellow wine tasters, with the emphasis very much being on conviviality and fun. These half day tours make a great present for anyone who likes wine, whether they are staunch fans of organic foods or not!
