These food and wine masterclasses in Scotland do not assume any prior knowledge and are fun and relaxed occasions to learn about wines from the great wine producing regions of the world, whilst enjoying a sumptuous meal and the company of fellow wine lovers.

The evenings take place in the Bell Tower Room of the 18th century Robert Adam's designed Coach House and each evening concentrates on a particular region of the world with wines for you to taste and local food flavours too with a freshly prepared five course meal.

The head chef who devised the menu will also talk about the dishes and share recipe ideas and tips with you, so you learn how to recognise and appreciate the differences between distinctive wines and which food they compliment best.

Evenings are usually held on the first Friday of the month, beginning at 19:00 and finishing at around 22:00.


The venue is a renowned cookery school in Edinburgh.


All those taking part must be over the age of 18.


The activity is not suitable for spectators. The venue has excellent guest facilities and the evening takes place in the beautiful Bell Tower Room in an 18th century coach house.
