It's tasty fun all the way with these kids' cookery classes in Essex! Your little darlings will love the fact that they get the chance to cook their very own dishes in a bustling professional kitchen and cooking shop with expert chefs to help them.
Aimed at children aged between six and 15, these cookery classes are, first and foremost, fun. The cookery school owner Ann Hood is always present and many classes are taken by Steven Walpole, a professional chef whose enthusiasm for good, healthy food for kids is unstoppable.
Chef Steven, who kids may know from the TV series 'Kids' Fit Squad', starts off the classes with a demonstration that is easy to follow and exciting enough to keep the kids' attention. Then each child will then put on their aprons and take their place on the work bench in the kitchen where they'll find all the equipment and ingredients they need to have a go at cooking what they've just seen.
By the end of these kids' cooking classes in Essex you'll be amazed at just what your children have produced in the kitchen - tasty pasta sauces, cakes and even a Sunday roast can be on the menu. We think getting youngsters started with cookery skills and a taste for fresh, homemade food at an early age can only be a good thing.

You may choose between a 2 hour or 3 hour cookery experience, allowing for extra hands on time. Youngsters will be welcomed to the cookery school by the friendly and professional chefs before being handed their aprons. The specialist chefs will demonstrate tasty and fun dishes that all children love with common themes including Cupcake backing and decorating, Little Chef Skills, Italian Mini Masterclass and Junior Master Chef. Dishes they can expect to create include Fresh Pasta and sauces, savory tarts, chicken dishes, Curry and side dishes and a traditional roast dinner.

Classes are available on selected weekday and weekend dates throughout the year.
