These chocolate workshops in central London give cocoa fans the chance to learn the indulgent culinary art of chocolate creation - and tasting!

Our professional chocolatiers (how about that for a career choice?) host the chocolate workshop at their 1950’s style chocolate 'factory' near Chancery Lane. The session begins with a brief history of chocolate, the production of cocoa and how to tell the quality of chocolate and cocoa beans by taste. Students will tuck in to some examples of fine hand-made work; including some rather unusual flavours such as chilli chocolate.

Then it’s chocolate recipe time as you get the chance to learn how to temper chocolate and make chocolate truffles from scratch, before dipping and coating your handmade truffles .

After being shown how to cut, dip and decorate the chocolate with delicious ingredients, you will make a giant chocolate button, or your very own personalised chocolate bar using professional decorating techniques and exotic ingredients!

The last part of these chocolate workshops lets you go wild with your chocolatey creations, ready to wrap them up in ribbons to take home. Deliciously good choccy fun that will make shop-bought chocolate bars seem rather dull in comparison. We also offer chocolate parties in Kent for 8-20 people.

Workshops last for 2 - 2.5 hours and give you a basic introduction to chocolate making allowing you to discover the process from bean to bar, taste exotic flavour combinations, create chocolate truffles from scratch, make your own limited edition Green and Blacks chocolate bar or giant chocolate button and learn the art of cutting, dipping and decorating. You will take home over approximately 15-20 of your handmade chocolates plus a limited edition flavoured Green and Blacks chocolate bar or two giant chocolate buttons. You may be part of a group of up to 22 guests.


London workshops run on Sundays with either a 10:30 or 2:30 or 6.30 start time. Groups of 8 or more can usually choose different times.
Other venues are available on selected Saturdays or Sundays starting at 10:30, 11:00 or 15:00.


The London venue is in Clerkenwell. Closest tube stations are Chancery lane or Farringdon. A love of chocolate is obligatory! There is a minimum age of 14 for these workshops. An apron is included - so no need to bring your own.


Not suitable for spectators - you're much better off buying a voucher for two and joining in the yummy chocolatey fun as well!
