This cupcakes and Martinis experience offers you a tasty trio of chocolatey things you won't be able to resist! As if the very fact that you'll be surrounded by Green & Blacks chocolate wasn't enough, you'll also learn how to make the perfect chocolate sponge cake and a scrumptious creamy filling, all helped along by that chocolate Martini drink.
Once your chocolate making expert has shown you the cake recipe, you'll be ready to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to decorating your chocolate cup cakes and whoopies. If you're wondering what a whoopie is, it's basically an American chocolate sandwich cake with a rich cream filling in between. We'll leave you to count the calories!
If you don't know your butter frosting from your squidgy marshmallow cake fillings you soon will under the guidance of your chocolate leader. As for your creative juices, get them flowing with gold leaves, ice gems, sugar craft, chocolate shavings and even a chocolate Martini cocktail. To finish off, you'll have time to decorate a presentation box for your chocolate cakes to take them home with you.
The Chocolate cakes and Martini experience takes place at a professional chocolatier kitchen in central London and you can buy a voucher for one, two or groups of up to 20 people, making this fun and tasty experience for individuals, couple and groups of friends or colleagues.
Workshops last for 2 hours. You will be given the recipe on how to make the perfect cupcake sponge, shake your own chocolate martini that will be dipped in Green and Blacks chocolate and decorate your own variation of whoopie pies all under the guidance of your master chef. Each participant will receive 6 freshly baked cupcakes and 2 whoopie pies to decorate with chocolate toppings, ice gems, sugarcraft and gold leaves. This chocolate making experience runs on both weekday evening and weekend dates. You may be joining part of a group of between 10-20 other participants.
The venue is located in Clerkenwell, London. The closest tube stations are Chancery Lane or Farringdon.
A minimum age of 16 years old is required. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic martinis will be available on the day.
This experience is not suitable for spectators. If you would like a friend to join you, just simply buy a voucher for two allowing both of you to enjoy the chocolatey fun!
