If you're looking for unusual outdoor activity - how about Llama Trekking? This specialist farm in Northamptonshire breeds and trains a herd of up to 60 llamas, as well as offering fun trekking experiences on the land around the centre.

The farm owners initially had llamas for guarding livestock, but soon fell in love with these native South American animals, as we're sure you will too. On this experience you will have your own llama by your side as you head off on a guided trek around the undulating countryside - and your friendly llama will only be too happy to carry your rucksack!

What we love about this experience is that it's not just about the llama trekking, you will also get to meet the baby llamas (known as crias) and the mums, as well as seeing the spinning wheel and rug loom that are used to turn the rich, soft llama fibres into rugs and jumpers.
