Tackle a High Ropes Adventure course in Hertfordshire! This family run outdoor events centre is on a farm estate setting just north of Ware and offers lots of fun and laughter in a safe and well-organised environment. There are two high ropes sessions available; one for those aged between 16 and 65 years and a course specially designed for children between the ages of eight and 15.
On the adult course, there are over 50 different high ropes challenges for you to tackle, split into three levels of difficulty and height. After a full safety briefing you'll start on the low level challenges and once you've successfully completed each section you'll move up to hopefully face the top level ropewalks, zips and bridges, all perched high above the ground.
The highlight on this course has to be the Big Zip. Set high up on a pylon, just climbing up there to access to zip wire will take nerves of steel. Once safely attached via your harness, it's away you go as you slide at a rate of knots along the wire. If you can do it without closing your eyes, you'll see you've got an amazing view of the countryside from this height!
Little ones will be tackling ropes, ladders, bridges, tyre swings and zips on platforms several feet above the ground on the specific kids' course. The circuit has three different levels and after being kitted out in a full harness and helmet, youngsters will listen to a full briefing before tackling the low level challenges. If children complete level one, they'll move on to the mid-level - higher off the ground and just that little bit more scary!
