Destination excitement with sphereing in Newquay! This area of Cornwall is renowned for extreme sports and fun, so it's the perfect setting for a spot of sphereing and this venue offers both aqua and harness sphereing.
Just inland from Porth beach, one of the more quiet and relaxed areas of the Cornwall coastline, you'll be sphereing on the hillside above the coast and you can assured of fabulous views - not that you'll be looking as you'll be tossed around inside a 12ft inflatable ball at speeds of up to 30mph, so sightseeing is probably not on the agenda!
Your friends and family are very much welcome to come along to this sphereing venue in Cornwall and watch the fun as you clamber into a large ball and then get rolled down a hill. Now that's got to be worth getting the video camera out for.
Sphereing experiences in Newquay last for around one hour in total, with the actual sphere roll taking 30 seconds. On aquasphereing you are inside the ball along with 30-50 litres of water and for harness sphereing you'll be strapped in. There will be others sphereing on the same timeslot as you.
These vouchers are valid for selected weekdays from April onward and subject to availability. All vouchers must be redeemed by the 30th June 2012.
You'll be rolling on the purpose-marked track in the countryside above Porth, Newquay.
Anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be able to sphere. If you are pregnant, have any medical conditions such as epilepsy, heart problems, back and neck injuries, recent operations etc are excluded from taking part. If in any doubt please contact us. There are also age limits of 12 for aquasphereing and seven for harness sphereing. You will need to be at least 3'10" for aqua and 4ft for harness. Maximum weight is 18 stone with a waist size of 18 stone. Any situations on eligibility to sphere will be dealt with by the team and their decision is final. Make sure to wear loose comfortable clothing and remember you'll get wet in the aquasphere, so bring swim gear or a change of clothes.
There are WCs on site, as well as a cafe area and free car parking. Friends and family are welcome to watch.
