Enjoy sphereing in Newcastle - in the heart of a working visitor farm! Expect the Highland cattle to be looking quizzically at you on this sphereing experience near Stocksfield to the west of Newcastle, as the venue is a working farm and visitor attraction.
As well as hosting sphereing, the farm is home to these long-haired cattle, a pets corner, pony rides and a superb little children's area too, so there's loads to keep all the family entertained for a whole day. The sphereing takes place on a specially cordoned off area of the meadowland and the expert team will greet you, explain what will happen and get you kitted out for the hill rolling experience of you life.
This centre near Newcastle offers aqua and harness sphereing, so you'll either be getting very wet or you'll be being bounced around whilst attached to the inside of the ball, depending on which version you choose.
Sphereing in Newcastle is offered as aquasphereing (you are not attached inside the orb and there is water in there too) or harness, where you are attached to the inside wall of the sphere. Rolls last 30 seconds and you should allow one hour on site for the activity. Others will be booked in at the same time as you on the day, so you will wait your turn. The team is on hand to help and assist regarding loading and unloading.

Your activity runs at the Farm Centre near Stocksfield, Newcastle. The venue is easily reached from the A68 and A69.
You will need to be at least seven for aquasphereing and 12 for harness. There is also a maximum weight of 18 stone and your waist size should be less than 60". As the activity is very physical there are a fair few restrictions regarding who can go sphereing. You are not allowed if you have had an operation in the last 12 months, you are under medial treatment, suffer back, neck, whiplash or have migraines. Anyone considered under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate. The sphereing team will make any decisions necessary on the day and they will be final. Please ensure you are dressed for sphereing - long t-shirts etc or swimmers for aqua sphereing as you will get wet (and maybe a change of clothes).
The Farm Park is a great place to spend a day with the family, so there is plenty to do for all ages as well as watching the sphereing action. There are pony rides, the Highland Cattle, pets corner and a playground. There is a tea shop and restaurant serving home cooked food including beef from the herd. Disabled access possible to the restaurant and toilets. There are also baby changing facilities.
