Experience the adrenaline rush of sphereing in Leeds! This venue is as close to the city centre as you can get, on the south west side of the city, just a mile from the Leeds football ground, with a perfect pitch of a hill to get you rolling at speed!
The centre offers harness sphereing, which means you'll be attached in the inner of the 12ft ball with a full body harness. Once in and comfortable, the team will give you a push and away you go, rolling, bouncing and bumping your way along the specially selected track.
You won't have time to take in your surroundings as you'll be far too busy rolling around, but friends and family will appreciate this Yorkshire farm setting for your sphereing experience in Leeds. And with the town centre so close at hand, there are plenty of bars and restaurants for a celebration meal or drink after your roll.
Allow around one hour on site for your sphereing in Leeds experience, with a roll lasting 30 seconds. The sphere team will give you a safety briefing before getting you kitted out in a harness and loaded into the ball. You will be rolling on a specially traced track. You will be part of a group of spherers booked into the same time slot and you will wait your turn to roll.
The voucher is valid for selected weekdays from April onward and you must redeem the voucher before the 30th June 2012.
Your activity takes place at a farm estate at New Farnley, just outside Leeds, with easy access from the M621 and A58(M).
If, on the day, you considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs you will not be allowed to take part and the sphere team's decision is final. You cannot take part if you are pregnant, have back, neck or migraine problems, have had an operation in the last 12 months or are under medical treatment including heart problems etc. There is a minimum age of 12 years old for harness sphereing and a maximum weight of 18 stone, waist size limit 60 inches. You are advised to dress casually for the activity and you will be barefoot inside the sphere.
The venue is on a farm, with on site toilets, free car parking and storage for personal belongings. There are also refreshments available. Friends and family are very welcome to come along to watch. Leeds city centre is very close with all the facilities you could need.
