All our clay pigeon sessions here offer tuition on a one to one basis, with an instructor on hand to get you properly kitted out and safety aware, ready to have a go at hitting the targets. Capable of welcoming up to 150 clay shooters on a busy day, the centre is abuzz with the sound of clays being fired out of the traps and crack of the shotgun.
You will get a total of 50 clays to aim at. Clays come in all sizes to represent different birds and animals. The standard bright orange clay is like an upside down saucer, is 110mm diameter and is made from limestone and pitch all designed to offer a long, flat flight path that is very close to representing real birds flying.
All tutors at this clay pigeon shoot in Warwickshire are Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) qualified, so you can be assured of the best teaching, which means you should be hitting those targets with ease!
You will receive one to one instruction from a CPSA qualified instructor covering basic safety and shotgun handling and operation. You will be taught how to shoot your 50 clays from a wide range of shooting stands using a 12-gauge shotgun. All equipment including ear defenders, gun, cartridges and clays are included.
Lessons will last approximately one hour. Experiences run on selected weekdays throughout the year. Saturday dates are available from September to February and some occasional Saturdays are available from March and August.
Clay Shooting experiences take place at an outdoor activity centre located in Warwick within easy reach of Leamington Spa, Coventry and Birmingham. There's easy road access via the M40 (J15).
No previous shooting experience is required as sessions are tailored towards each guests abilities. Low recoil cartridges are used to ensure maximum comfort. There is no minimum age however participants need to have the strength to hold the gun.
Spectators are very welcome but are limited to two per participant. There is a clubhouse on site with toilets, seating areas and snack vending machines.
