Be on target with this clay pigeon experience in East Sussex! Taking place on the edge of a country adventure park just north of Eastbourne, this clay pigeon shoot is perfect for beginners who want to have a go at the sport.

Your clay pigeon expert is Mike Wilmshurst, who has been shooting targets since the early 1990s. He's very passionate about introducing newcomers to the sport and holds a Level 1 Clay Pigeon Shooting Association licence. Mike can teach anyone from 12 years old, so this best value experience is a superb choice for a family day out.

All instruction, equipment and safety gear is provided for you, so you just need to bring along some enthusiasm and appropriate outdoor clothing. Once kitted up and having been talked through the safety aspects of handling the gun, you'll be ready to face the clays.

On this clay pigeon shoot in Eastbourne you will get a total of either 25 or 50 clays to aim at, being launched into the sky a different angles and speeds. You can book for an individual or a small group of up to six people if you want to make it a fun group outing.

You will be taught basic shooting techniques under the guidance of a CPSA instructor. After a welcome and safety briefing you'll learn how to hold the gun, position yourself and take a steady aim before hitting the target. You may be part of a group of up to 6 guests on the day. Allow spending an hour on site, however the duration may vary depending on the group size on the day. All equipment is provided.


Lessons take place on selected Saturday evenings throughout the year at 6pm.


The venue is near Eastbourne with easy access from the A22.


The activity is suitable for ages 12 and over. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult whilst on site.


Spectators are welcome to watch. Facilities are limited at the shooting site however there is a large Adventure Park and ski slope adjacent which offer additional activities, food, drink and facilities (additional entry fees of approximately £8.50 for adults apply).
