With its convenient location equidistant from Manchester, Liverpool and Chester, this clay pigeon shooting site in Cheshire is really easy to get to. Once you arrive on the 200 acre country estate you'll feel far, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The experience begins with the detailed safety briefing before it's your turn to spot those clays and take aim. The 50 clay session is split into two, with 25 practice clays followed by a break, then a fun and informal competition in the second half with another 25 clays to try and shoot to smithereens. There's no denying the satisfaction felt when you shoot and watch the clay shatter - and with expert guidance and tuition on offer you too should be hitting the target!

The venue has a great set up for groups and we offer vouchers for up to 36 people to go clay pigeon shooting together, making it a very popular choice for groups of friends, colleagues and stag/hen outings.  Clay pigeon shooting lessons are widely available across other parts of the UK.
 

This clay pigeon shooting experience in Cheshire starts with registration and a thorough safety briefing into the workings of the shotgun, ammunition, handling and safety procedures. Your instructor will teach you all the basic gun handling techniques and you'll have either 30 clays in one session or 50 shots over two sessions, taking between two and three hours, culminating in an informal competition to find the day's hotshot.


This Cheshire venue is available all year round. Individual and small group bookings will usually be accommodated on a Wednesday or Saturdays. Other times may also be available. Due to local planning restrictions, all shooting must end by 4pm and there is no shooting allowed on Sundays. The estate is often closed to the public on Bank Holidays for competitions.


Minimum age is 13 years. Operator supplies suitable gun, cartridges, ear defenders, protective glasses and padded waistcoat if necessary. Please wear clothes and shoes/boots suited to doing an outdoor activity.


This Cheshire based clay pigeon shooting establishment welcomes spectators and the Lodge provides an ideal base to watch the action. The Lodge is a beautiful Scandinavian style log cabin with wood burning stove with a bar, refreshments and toilet facilities.
