Experience Summary: After and welcome and introduction you will be kitted with your Olympic Recurve bow, sharp and blunt arrows, quiver, bracer and tab. Each of the 20 game zones are unique and require a different skill, with the range varying from 15 to 300 feet. You will shoot traditional targets as well as more unusual targets including life size 3D bears, deer, wild boar and flying geese. You may be in competition with up to 50 participants on the day with the standard team size being 5. A BBQ lunch of spit roast chicken will be served in the rustic outdoor eating area. Availability: Experiences are available on Saturday and Sundays throughout the year. The day will commence at 10am and finish at around 3:30pm. You are required to arrive 15 minutes before the experience begins to be issued your kit. Exclusive hire of the arena may be available for large groups.
Location: This unique archery experience takes place within 10 acres of carefully planned Games Zones, in Broadoak near Canterbury, Kent.
Requirements: There is a minimum age of 12 years. All under 16's must be accompanied an adult. No shooting experience is required and the venue can accommodate to everyone needs and abilities. Teams that play against each other are carefully allocated to ensure you are competing against those with similar shooting abilities. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Participants may bring their own bow and wood arrows. Please note cross and compound bows are not allowed.
Spectators and Facilities: Onsite there is a rustic eating area. Toilet facilities are available. Spectator places may be available but have to be confirmed with the venue when booking. If you have travelled a long distance to the venue the operator can recommend good hotels and B&B's in the local area.
