Test your shooting skills with a session of archery lessons in Cornwall! There's nothing like trying this ancient and most noble of sports in the spectacular setting of Carwinion Gardens in the delectable village of Mawnan Smith, just outside Falmouth.
Your highly trained teaching team will show you the best of bare bow or sighted archery techniques, so by the end of your one or two hour lesson, you should be confidently holding the bow, loading the arrow and shooting as close to the bullseye as possible.
We are offering one or two hour experiences for individuals or groups of up to 12 people and children as young as 10 can participate, as long as they are accompanied by and adult. For those not taking part in the archery, Carwinion Gardens, famous for it's Cornish teas, formal flower beds and bamboo, makes an excellent way to while away their time whilst you're concentrating on being a master archer!
So don't worry if you've never even picked up a bow before, let alone tried to shoot an arrow as the quality of the teaching is exemplary, with this archery centre in Cornwall being a member of the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS).

Sessions last either one or two hours. After a welcome and introduction you will be given your archery equipment along with full instructions of use from the expert GNAS registered archery leaders. Within the session you will learn the basics of archery and test how well you can shoot under the pressure of some friendly competition. Participants who hit gold will receive a certificate as a memento. You may form part of a group of up to twelve on the day.

Experiences are available on most weekdays and weekends throughout the year. Other archery clubs may open at alternative times, please see our
archery lessons home page for more information.
