Reel in the catch of the day with this Salmon Fishing in Scotland experience! This is a full day of salmon fishing in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Nothing can be more serene than a day at the river's edge, fishing these famous beats as you spot runs of fresh water salmon glistening in the rushing water.

This truly idyllic setting makes for a fantastic day out in the country, whether you're completely new to salmon fishing or not. Your day includes a welcome by your expert fishing guide for the day and an hour of teaching so you can learn the basics of fly fishing before you set off to land your own salmon.

Once settled on the river bank, your fishing guide will be on hand to help, advise and give you handy hints on how to cast. There'll no doubt be time for plenty of angling anecdotes involving tales of bankside heroism as the fisherman battled to land his catch..then all of a sudden there's a movement on the line and it's 'fish on'! Time to bring in your salmon...

On this full day salmon fishing day in Scotland, all the equipment including rods, reels, nets and flies is provided and you even get to your very own collection of Scottish salmon flies to take home and keep. Hopefully you will have landed a few salmon during your fishing day in Scotland!

On your salmon fishing day in Scotland you will enjoy:

Please note all fish caught are released back in to keep the river stocked.


Experiences take place on most Saturdays throughout the year. You will meet your guide at 9am and the experience will finish at 5pm.


Salmon fishing takes place on various rivers all over Scotland.


There is no minimum age as long as children are accompanied by a participating adult. No Maximum age is required. All participants should be in good health. Wellington boots and suitable clothing for the weather is recommended. Bring food and drink along with you as the experience will last 5 hours.

Spectators are welcome to come and watch, but won't be able to fish. As fishing takes place on river banks throughout Scotland, there are usually no facilities at the river banks. Friends and family might want to arrange to visit the local area whilst you fish.
