This is the UK's first commercial bridge bungee jump and what a bridge it is! The iconic transporter bridge in Middlesbrough was made famous in the last series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
Built in 1911 the bridge is one of only three bridge jumps operating in the world. Arrive easily from the A66 into the transporter bridge visitor centre and from there you will be weighed and kitted out with your back up harness.
Then the biggest climb of your life, 210 steps to the top of the bridge. Once at the top, you will find yourself 160ft above the River Tees where you can take in the fabulous views as you wait to be kitted out and final checks are made before you jump.
Then it's your turn! On the edge, the jumpmaster shouts 3, 2, 1, Bungee and you are away 160ft above the River Tees. Filled with adrenalin a waiting speed boat plucks you from the air. Then it's back to the shore waving to your family and friends in the viewing area.

A bungee jump from the only bridge site in the UK. A personalised certificate is issued to all jumpers.
Bungee jumping is also available at other venues around the country.
Approximately two Sundays a month throughout the year.

I found the website was a great way of buying something different for presents. I used Into the Blue to buy a bungee jump for my son. It took no time to sort out. Well done Into the Blue.

I bought a transporter bridge bungee jump voucher for my brother's 21st birthday. The whole experience was awesome and he absolutely loved it. It was definitely worth the money to see him scared out of his wits before he started the big climb to the top of the bridge though!
