Meet and fly Owls in Ripon, in the stunning Yorkshire countryside! This wonderful centre just next to the Lightwater Valley Theme Park is open to the public and offers a fun and friendly insight into the world of Owls that all ages will delight in.
The well laid out centre boasts 25 different birds and over 18 different species, with one of the most extensive collections of native and non-native Owls we've ever seen. We defy you not to go 'Ahhh' when you meet Bobby the Boobook Owl, a tiny owl native to Australia and New Zealand, or be impressed by the regal European Eagle Owls George and Rocky.
On this one hour Owls experience in Ripon, you will have plenty of time to meet and greet the Owls and as well as getting up close to these magnificent creatures, you will be shown how to put on your special glove and have the Owl fly to your hand. You also learn lots about the looking after and training the Owls.
