Family Bird of Prey Experience Yorkshire

This family falconry experience takes place near Skipton in North Yorkshire on a vast country estate with a big collection of birds to fly and meet during the professional demonstrations. The emphasis is on giving participants a real hands-on experience, getting to know the birds and understand their behaviour.
Designed for two adults and two children, this experience provides an introduction to the different birds of prey and gives the youngsters the chance for a close-up look at the animals and enjoy the thrill of having a hawk fly to them. There is then a meadow walk during which the birds will fly to their posts, then back to your group. The activity includes a photo opportunity with the birds and in all the experience lasts about one and a half hours. Full & half day falconry experiences can be found on our
falconry home page.

This experience lasts approximately one and a half hours including briefings, handling/flying time with the birds, meadow walk and photo call at the end of the session. More family friendly
