The centre is purpose built on a farming estate, with a large weathering ground for the raptors and excellent visitor facilities too. You'll be warmly greeted on arrival ready for your taster session. If you opt for the one and a half hour taster you will be guided through the training process for a Harris Hawk before heading out for your one hour lesson 'on the ground' with the hawks in their natural habitat. This gives you a more in depth insight into the work and play of the wonderful Harris Hawks and you will get to know your bird well.
Choosing for the two hour taster is all about being able to get up and close to a variety of raptors, including owls, hawks and eagles. You will get straight on with the flying and you will handle up to eight different birds, including the likes of Pilgrim, the American Bald Eagle who always wows the audience.
