This falconry centre is between Birmingham and Kidderminster, offering a fun half or full day out all the family will enjoy, surrounded by a spectacular collection of over 70 birds of prey and over 30 different species. With the maximum group size at this falconry centre in the West Midlands being just six, you will enjoy privileged access to the birds.
Both experiences start with a guided tour of this large falconry centre which is open permanently to the public, but you will have the delight of being accompanied by an expert handler who will be only too pleased to answer your questions. You then head out to the arena area, where you will actually be taught how to fly at least five different and very gorgeous birds of prey such as Harris Hawks, Buzzards, Kestrels, Little Owls, Eagle Owls and Striated Caracara birds.
On the full day experience, your afternoon begins by walking with a Hawk through the woodlands around the centre, giving you a real insight into the behaviour of these birds in their natural habitat. Then a definite highlight to finish, with the flying of one of the larger birds of prey - usually either a Vulture or Eagle - a simply breathtaking sight that rounds off a truly fascinating day out at this renowned falconry centre in Birmingham.

Half days last approximately 2 ¾ hours, full days last approximately 5 ¾ hours. Both will include an introduction to the birds of prey from an expert falconer, handling and flying at least 5 birds of prey, usually including Kestrel, Buzzard, Harris Hawk and different species of Owls. On full days after a break for a snack lunch (included in the price) you will be taken out in the woodlands where you will be able to fly a hawk in its natural habitat. The day ends with a chance to fly either an Eagle or Vulture. You may form part of a group of approximately 6 other participants plus any spectators.
