Experience the thrill of a raptor flying to your hand with this Falconry Taster in Gloucestershire! This taster experience is perfect for giving you an insight into the wonderful world of falconry and allows enough hands on time be to be able to fly a bird to the hand.

This centre is run by Ben Long, who has been passionate about falconry since training his first bird of prey, a kestrel, at the age of 16. He has been a member of the British Falconer's Club since 1973 and has a dedicated team working with him. All this enthusiasm is sure to rub off on you as you spend time with the team.

For this falconry taster you will spend around an hour and a half at the centre in Gloucestershire. You'll enjoy an introduction to the raptors and learn about looking after these birds of prey before you head out into the field and have a go at flying the bird (usually a hawk or owl) straight to your outstretched, gloved hand. A truly magical experience that all the family will enjoy.
