These vouchers cover a number of birds of prey centres throughout the UK, so if you know they'd enjoy a  day out with our feathered friends, but you're not sure where they'd like to take their bird of prey experience, this is the voucher for you.

Of course all the centres offer slightly different itineraries, but in all cases you will get to meet several species of birds of prey and actually get to handle these gracious and intelligent birds. Using a gloved hand you'll learn how to attract the bird to fly to you and delight at the sight of one of these magnificent birds of prey swooping in to land gently on your hand.

Most of these full day experiences also offer the chance to go on a walk in the countryside with the birds on a hunt. You will marvel at the close relationship these expert bird handlers have with their birds of prey and get to see just how efficiently they work as a team to be highly successful and fruitful hunters in the wild.

Hungry work all this fresh air in the countryside, so several of the centres actually include a tasty lunch as part of these full day birds of prey experience, which means you are well refuelled for your afternoon session with the birds.

Offering an excellent day out in the countryside, these nationwide full day birds of prey experience vouchers represent total flexibility and they can book with whichever centre suits them from the list of participating locations the length and breadth of the UK. Please visit our main falconry section for a great choice of falconry and bird of prey experiences at a venue near to you. After a welcome from your falconer you'll  meet and greet a selection of birds usually including Hawks, Owls and Falcons. You'll learn how the birds are trained, exercised and handled before getting hands on and flying them from a gloved hand. The days usually last between 5 and 7 hours. You will be forming part of a small group of others on the day.  Lunch is also included.
Experiences take place on most weekends and weekdays throughout the year. Most of the activities are subject to weather conditions however the Cheshire venue has an indoor flying arena in case of rain.
Minimum age is 16, under 18's must be accompanied by a participating or spectating adult.
Limited spectator places are usually available and giving friends and family the opportunity to see the birds. Spectator places should be booked in advance with the operator, an additional spectator fee applies and is payable on site. Most venues provide tea and coffee for guests.
