These full and half day land yachting experiences will see you learning to harness the free energy in the wind as you speed up and down the beaches of Kent.
Also known as sandyachting or landsailing, you'll be using a sail to control where you go and your speed (remember, land yachts don't have brakes!). The first thing you'll actually be taught is how to stop! Once this has been mastered, you'll move on to negotiate the figure of eight circuit so you can learn how to turn.
As your land yachting prowess progresses, you'll move on to longer and more challenging circuits. Your expert instructor will teach you manoeuvres like the luff turn and maybe even a gybe turn, which if you crack it, will literally blow you away!
Whether you choose a half or full day experience, you'll find land yachting is an exhilarating, environmentally friendly sport, that makes the most of the windswept sands of the Kent coast.
